האתר של עיריית עכו נמצא בבניה מחדש ע"י חברה חדשה שזכתה במכרז ניהול ממוחשב של העירייה.
כזכור פרסמנו בעכונט לפני כחודשיים , שבית המשפט המחוזי בחיפה, מחק עתירה מינהלית שהגישה החברה לאוטומציה במינהל השלטון המקומי נגד עיריית עכו, זאת לאחר שהפסידה במכרז לניהול ממוחשב של העירייה. השופט חייב את החברה לאוטומציה לשלם לעיריית עכו ולחברת מטרופולי-נט, החברה שזכתה במכרז הוצאות משפט בסכום של 10,000 ₪ לכל אחת.
בתחילת השנה , פרסמה העירייה מכרז לניהול ממוחשב של העירייה במסגרתו התמודדו ארבע חברות. בסופו של דבר נותרו שתי חברות שעברו את תנאי הסף: החברה לאוטומציה ומטרופולי-נט. בין מדרגי הציון במכרז היה גם מנהל מערכות מידע ומחשוב של העירייה, ניר הלפרין שהיה ממנסחי המפרט הטכני. החברה לאוטומציה הגישה הצעה בסכום של 2.330 מליון ₪ בעוד שחברת מטרופולי-נט הציעה סכום נמוך ב-55 אלף ₪. בדירוג הסופי גברה מטרופולי-נט על החברה לאוטומציה וועדת המכרזים בעירייה הכריזה עליה כזוכה.
